How it works
Young people imagine what adults might overlook.
The Youth Board is a place for bold questions and original ideas. Young people bring the vision; EverFound brings adult experience, creative collaborators, fundraising connections, and practical support to help selected ideas find a real path forward.
Our philosophy
Three principles guide every decision.
Imagination comes before feasibility.
A child’s idea should not be dismissed because it’s expensive, impractical, unconventional, or difficult to explain. The first question is not “Can we do that?” but “What is interesting about this idea, and what could it become?”
Adults enable rather than dictate.
Adults bring valuable expertise, but they should not take over a child’s idea or reshape it around adult priorities. Their role is to ask better questions, introduce possibilities, offer guidance, and help overcome obstacles.
Ideas deserve a path forward.
Not every idea needs to become a funded project. But every serious contribution deserves to be heard, and promising ideas should have a pathway toward experimentation, creative expression, collaboration, or implementation.
EverFound’s credibility depends on what happens after a child shares an idea. Participation must come with meaningful agency: acknowledgement, development, and real opportunities to see ideas acted on.

Young Creators
Young Creators is an open invitation for children and teenagers with imaginative ideas for their community, environment, or future. You don’t need to join a formal board to share what you’re imagining.

Youth Board members meet regularly to develop ideas, collaborate with artists and mentors, influence which opportunities EverFound pursues, and build leadership skills along the way. Young people, parents, guardians, and educators are welcome to express interest.
